The following is a catalogue of manuscripts that contain three late antique accounts of the Trojan War in Latin:
- the Ephemeridos belli Troiani [‘The Diary of the Trojan War’] attributed to Dictys of Crete,
- the De excidio Troiae historia [‘The History of the Destruction of Troy’] attributed to Dares of Phrygia,
- the anonymous Excidium Troie [‘The Destruction of Troy’].
At the moment, the manuscript catalogue is a work in progress and some catalogue records are incomplete. On the current state of records, see: Cataloguing Principles. If you need or have more information on a manuscript that is listed here, please get in touch. If you have noticed a missing manuscript, please also let me know.
If you are looking for a specific manuscript, check out the Advanced Search as well as the Quick Links listed there. See also Lost Manuscripts, which are not included in the Manuscript Catalogue.
